1.4 sr head on 1.6 block

i did ask this in my project thread but id like some more info.
was told to use the sr head, and its cam, but use the c16se cambox and inlet.

but was told it would keep blowing the head gasket because of compression
what about just swaping cams? would this do anythink ?
any info or tips or other idears would be great :thumb:

never blew a gasket on my old nova when it had a sr head on a 16se
ran pretty well and was rather nippy aswell

The compression ratio would be stupid.
