Just Wonderd if it was possible to run a c16se on a standerd 1.2 inlet and carb, i got given the engine and box and have the time just no money to spend at the moment, boredom is getting the better of me and wonderd if this would be possible?? mine is the 1.2i don't no if that makes any differance??

No for many reasons.

Are you trying to make it 'easier' to install? Or is the engine missing the inlet?

The std injection for the E16Se only has 6 or 7 wires coming off it to wire into the car. Its easy.

Im skint at the moment so being inpaiant, its missing inlet ecu loom, but was not going to turn down a free engine, hopefully get some work come my way in next few weeks and get it all done, dont want to go to PVS in a 1.2. Thanks for your help

it is actually possible but runs like a complete piece of sh!t. i done this a few years ago.it struggled to idle but was better at higher revs. you would be better off putting the wiring in for the c16se and it wont take you long at all.

well im pleased to see im not the only one that has had the idea, what would i need if i maneged to get an inlet with carbs?? would i need ecu and wiring still??

Twin 40s etc, or something differant, any recomendations?
