Quite clueless on what final drive to use in the gearbox im gonna be using on my nova when its done, its an f13wr with a 4.18 final drive at the moment.
What would changing the final drive to 3.74 frm an f15cr?? Would it accelerate more or have more top end speed?
Any one know?

stay with the 4.18 good acceleration and top end. 3.74 will accelerate slower AFAIK
for better acceleration the 4.53 is the way to go but they cost upto £200

4.18 will give better acceleration defo
Some F15's have a seperate crownwheel and pinon like the F13's but soon after F15 production started they went to one piece pinon/output shafts like the F16/F20
Leave it as it is, My nova has the same box and it was perfect, not slow to accelerate or revving its nuts of at 70mph.
4:18 is what a lot of people want anyway as its the mid range standard vauxhall one iirc

cheers for the info guys, think ill stick with the 4.18
would it be worth putting the 4.18 in a f15cr then??
depends if the F15 will take it or not...
