Basicly not seen my auntie, uncle and little cousen in about 6 years as they live in London so i've mentioned about meeting up for an hour before i head into the gates for PVS to catch up...
I don't know anything/anywhere (places) that's very local to the show that i can park up and maybe have a quick drink with them at...
It would be a massive help if someone could give me a postcode which i could share with them of such a place around the corner which isn't mega busy.

+1Rep for a none BELL-END answer that i can use.

Thanks in advance :)

Was thinking more of a pub type place that also does food.

do a search on the harvester website... there will be loads in an easy to get to area... there are always tons near the m1, and a1, and if you get there early enough, it is cheaper.......

just remember this novalad, getting from any part of london on a friday takes at least twice as long as from anywhere else..... just which bit of the smoke are they from?????

I'm in Manchester, - Oldham and it says it takes around 3 hours 10 mins to get to Pod.
Obviously i'll be setting off around about 12:30pm ish so should get there i hope between 3:30pm and 4:00pm which will give me an hour with them till the gates open...
They are coming from outside London, - Harrow.

If that makes sence.

i'm sorry, but that is the funniest thing i've seen on here for months...............

birmingham & the west midlands is the biggest carpark in europe on a friday.............

you will be needing to go to stoke & down the A50 to j24 of the M1, and then get going.

if you can manage it in under 4 hours, you've done bloody well, then there is the queueing..... from harrow to pod is probably a couple of hours considering the m25 is always crap.......

liaise with your relatives, and find out just what theyre prepared to do....

lol i like to be optimistic.
And i've never traveled that way myself so thanks for the headsup.
They arn't in work that day So it's doesn't matter to them because if it was a good day they can do it in 1hour 30 mins from Harrow to pod so obviously they have plenty of time for traffic delays...
My problem is the GF can't get anytime free to set off till after 12 ish. :(

I suppose we don't have to start entering Pod for 5:00pm just because that's when it opens but i wanted to be putting the tent up etc... well it's still quite nice. (rain or shine) lol

NL, your best bet is to get to the pod, & pitched in the PNG bit, then get the hell out of there with your valuables & get a good few miles away to do family time.....
can't you get the GF to cop a sicky of some description???

She's tried but she can't till 12:00pm.
Is it best to get queing up into Pod early as or to just wait till about 1 hour after so it gives time for people to get in.
