G3 is a rubbing compound, use a decent polish as they come with UV protection

G3 mate cant beat it

If you keep using G3, It will eventually burn through the lacquer and basecoat and take the paint off.

If its been repainted then it shouldn't fade.

|There are much better waxes and polishes than Auto glym on the market.

Look at Megiuar's, dodo juice, chemical guys they are all very good yet have an affordable price tag.

Megiuars... love the stuff, easy to use, doesnt leave annoying dust like Glym does, and always gives a nice finish.

when I did mine once it was

Zymol wash (it was cheap and smells pretty)

Stg 1 and 2 of the megs stuff
clearkot vanilla moose glaze
then collinite 476 wax

Once was enough to never want to do that again lol

Im a lazy fecker so :-

I just get the car wet.
Foam it and go over it with a sponge.
Rinse.
Wait for it to dry in the sun.
Use Demon Shine to get the marks out.
Then turtle wax ice.

All can be done in the sun on a hot day, which is the only time I like to wash the car.

If I want to do a proper job I use the 3 stage megs thing, but I do that in the garage.

There are loads that can be used,

Dar a sponge??????????????????????? No no no no no. Everything i do is always done in the sun too. Good waxes say no to cause it will heat dry the wax making it a ******* to get off.
