XE Nova gearbox mount

I fitted the XE in the Nova today and the nut on the front gearbox mount is resting on the gearbox.

Any idea's how I can stop this at all?

Mine was like that as are a few others i've seen. Mine has nearly worn through the gearbox casing but its taken a long time so I didn't let it worry me too much.

Mine was the same, cut the head of the bolt so it doesnt reach, or remove the washer:)

loosen the bolts on the rubber mount (inside the bracket), push the box back and re-tighten......it should not be touching!
