although i do need one - does anywhere know of a retailer or dealer in birmingham area i can buy just the wiring harness?

Could be a problem unless you have the receipt for the stereo as it will look like you've got a nicked headunit and you need the wiring harness for it (I'm not implying that it is a hot stereo or anything like that!!!)

for the record it isnt ;)

i got one from halfords for ?20 today.

although the guy i got the radio off has got the harness now :x :lol: just my luck, so ill be taking it back next week sometime!!!

Gotta say I'm surprised, I know that when my brother tried to buy a new loom for his old Pioneer stereo (Approx. 8 years ago!! :o ) he couldn't get hold of one anywhere!!!
I suppose that car stereos are now a much bigger buisness with more companies making products to cash in on it.
