hi all im new on here just wondering has any one on here ever fitted a digi dash in to a mk1 dash with out ruining it as i only have one left any help much apreciated :thumb:

IIRC you have to cut it a fair bit to make it all fit, its been done though, I attempted it but gave up lol

ffs mk1 dash and a digi dash question has popped up everyday, use the bloody search

used the search but didnt find any thing use full was wondering had any body actually done it succesfully and kept it tidy

Because no-ones knowingly posted actual measurements- you cant just make one accurate cut the dash in the right place to get a good looking job without any filling/perfecting to do after. (trial and error,)
if you cut there-abouts then fill/perfect-it after, like i did with mine - youll then have to cover it all for it to look good.. like i did.

i chopped mine and used no filler or fibreglass etc :cool: sorry no pics but it looked factory fit.

i do but there all mechanics, so our greatings are oh no not ****ing you
was kinda hopin not to have to use any filer some one said to use a cav mk 2 surround to fit in and look tidy but cant find any thing on the net about it
