Is it best to cut a big hole and slot the complete pedal/MC assembly through so the large plate just sits on the remaining metal of the battery tray and then use 4 bolts to fasten to this??

Im confused because i have seen some pictures where people have used a hole saw and then drilled 8 holes and mounted the pedal assembly by splitting the pedal and MC and bolting through the holes.

Hope this makes sense and i hope someone can shed some light :)

You want it so the pedal bolts up to the servo from the inside, should add more strength, as the nova battery tray isnt really strong to start with.

So basically just cut a smaller hole with a holesaw.

right, so separate the assembly and use the 4 inner studs as well as the 4 bolts on the larger plate?
