hispec 280mm x 26mm discs, how close?

as title, to the hub knuckle should they be? theres about a mm clearance from the inside of the rotor to the knuckle bit that goes us to meet the track rod, hispec tell me this is fine, but when the brakes get hot surely they will expand and catch? also, the bell is thicker than the standard discs, ie its spacing my wheel out, is this normal when going to bells and rotors? cheers

Mine are close, but not that close. "shave" a bit of metal from the hub?

well, i could do that, but im wodering if they hace spec'd me to thick a disc at 26mm? and also benn, do your bells 'space' the wheel out, probably only a couple of mm, but just want to know if this is normal, as hispec are fookin clueless!

I dont have bells and rotas, i found discs to fit my Wilwoods.
