studs

i cant he studs out of my head onthe exhaust side they seem to be rusted in i tried wd40 and most other things i dont have lots of money so no suguestions of going to a specialist




any ideas plz

u tried self locking pliers?

try hitting the studs with a hammer to loosen em first (towards the head, not sideways)

if that dont work then blowtorch

tried self locking pliers did hit studs with hammer but didnt want to break them

does a blow torck work wat i do just heat them up and then turn them or let them cool

Screw two 13mm nuts onto the stud and lock them together - then simply unscrew the stud by turning the nut nearest the head !!

if the blow torch dont work i thinkin of drilling out stud and putting a helli coil in

cut the end off the stud, then drill a small (suitable sized) hole, then get a stud extractor and screw it in and it will then start to "bit" and "pull" continue screwing until the stud comes out

blow torches are amazing things try that first

yeah - blow torch best way - heat en up dso they expand and craxk thr rust - dont go mad though

to free the nuts without rounding them off also try doing them "up" in effect, so if you do round off the face it is the leading edge to do it up, not the undoing sides.
