Yea i know about rot lol and where to check for that.

As ive never done an xe conversion but so far i know to look for bay strengthening(sp?), wiring, ecu in engine bay, overall engine clean no gaskets pissing oil out,

any one think of any more?

get there early, like an hour early, to check its proper cold, then all the problems will show.... get a squirtly bottle with old engine oil & blast some under the sump & up the exhaust, that'll get you some knocked off.....

our firm once saved ourselves £9000 by turning up early to look at a 'warranty' on a horse arena we'd built........

not viewed yet but fingers crossed my mate rings him up tonight.

He offered him £1400 when it was up for £2000 and the guy said he wouldnt take under 2 grand.

It only has 2months mot aswell
