I already have a 2.0 8v nova and now am gunna put a 2.0 16v in cos the water pump has just gone on my one. I have a complete Cavalier GSi donor car outside my house that all works.

Will i need to change anything to put the 16v in? I know i will have to change the ECU and loom but that should be it wont it?

Also, at the mo, i have an F16 box on, i know this will fit the 16v but would the F20 suit the engine better? I'm not after huge top ends but i do like a long first gear and a quick 0-60. Anyone got the ratios for the two boxes to compare?

physically it will bolt in as the block is the same size. you will need to put in the full engine loom from the cav and check www.valvers.com to help with wiring.
If the F16 is a close ratio box use it otherwise use the F20. On the side casing of the box if you clean it you will see a long code. cr or wr will be in the middle of it (wr for wide ratio)
