Brake Problem on Vectra SRI HELP!!!!!

hi i have a problem with the brakes on my vectra every now and then the pedal goes hard and its sort of like a stone is stuck in the disk kind of noise but i have just changed the pads on it but this has been happening before i done this can anyone help?

The sliders which the calipers move on will be jammed up, remove them from caliper (they go through the caliper and the carrier) clean with scotch bright/wire wool ect re grease and re fit, problem sorted buddy

by the slider are you talking about the bit where the pad mounts onto
