How do van panels work, the inside of the rear window looks like it has a normal window rubber in, yet the outside looks like the panel is pressed into the shell?

there spot welded in mate the rubbers there to cover the edge were the window rubber would be

spud some people run the altornator on the front of the engine so no need for a recess

thats how the metalic pink one that was in tv years ago was done
