Feel free to move mods if it's in the wrong section.

Right I have coilovers on the front of the nova with 300lb springs. They are height and damping adjustable but the top mounts are shot. I was wondering if anyone would like to do a swap for shocks and springs and top mounts as I really don't need coilovers on the front. Not looking for standard ones as I have a V6 something a bit more uprated. Only asking this as it saves me buying new ones only to sell my coilovers to get the money bk. The coilovers are in good condition no weeping or pitting etc ant the collars adjust freely.

I think they are AVO but I can get a pic if needed.

If this is in the wrong section let me know. We should have a swap section lol

The difficulty will be finding a set of springs and shocks that are suitable for your heavier engine. I'd still with the coilovers tbh!

eccentric or concentric (SP) top mounts would be a wise investment imo.

See I think so. I'm unsure though as I have never had a car with coilovers and seen as it came with them I didn't know if standard ones would fit.

How do other top mounts work?

I've moved to the wanted section.

Are you sure you want to ditch coilovers entirely? I had dampers & springs suitable for an XE (can't remember the spring rating now, but they were PVD ones... and I put them on Koni adjustables) and they couldn't take the slight increase in weight of the V6.
