Ski Saloons

Was ment to ask this question a while back, When the Nova Ski's came out they also came as saloon's,
has anyone ever seen one or got a picture of one?
ive been looking on the internet for a while but no luck...

ive got a brochure aswell, where its got the details on the hatchback's it says, "also as a saloon"
but ive never seen one before.
would be nice to see what they look like.

Why all it would be is a standard white saloon with some ski decals.

It would only be slightly cool if it was standard. Doing a rep of one would be a bit pointless.

It would look eaxctly the same as my hatch with the stripes extended along the rear 1/4's at a guess. I'd be suprised if there was actually a saloon that did get stickered up as Ski, I'd say it was just there as an option on the brochure to try and broaden the appeal of it a bit tbh.

As sport says, it would just be a plain base model Nova with the dodgy stickers slapped on!

Did the hatch come with an SR spoiler? Dont think they even came with headrests as i remember Matt try to get some for ages.

Yeah they came with the spoilers. i got headrest's with mine but the bloke who owned it before fitted them..

Just a Merit with some bits added and some bits taken away to create a 'new' model - Nothing special mate

You want a Nova Sting ;) Basically a 1.2 SR G reg IIRC with white bumpers etc - There cool 'Limited' edition Novas

all the ski's were used for was to boost sales when they wernt shifting them.
so they gave it a new look with a few bits added/taken away etc

My Dad got the spoiler off one of them to fit to his B reg Nova 1.2 GL saloon in black

Had nearly every Vauxhall dealer fit option at the time that car lol

Diffrent clocks ;) but for me the only models like these worth having were Antibes, Sting and maybe the Flair on a mk2.

The only reason I bought the one I have was because it was an immaculate white early MK1 which was all I was after.

The Ski stickers never did much for me tbh, hence why it wont have them on for much longer.
