help roll cage!

hi just offered up the cage and its well short. im sure ive herd about this before. if anyone knows whats needed i will be gratefull

Check Lee's WIP, I think his Omp one was short like that and he boxed it out to meet it. The other arch is stting flush and the B pillar legs are on the floor I'm guessing?

yer all the other bits are cool. its just the other side is a different shape arch.

I gather its a full 6 point cage?

Or a show cage?

As youll need to weld spreader plates in etc, or itll do more damage than good!

Space it out with spreader plates, then put the bolts in from the bottom, and tighten it down, it will all pull into place.

Looks like a safety devices cage to me!

Have you got it all in?

I.E this is thet last leg to tighten down?

yes its a safety divices cage.

the front plates are touching the floor and it still hits the sunroof a bit?

as for spreader plate i havent made them up yet.

By the time you've got the spreader plates in, I agree it'll probably work out alright. Maybe make the passenger B pillar floor plate a little higher to help?!

Its a non-sunroof cage then, my omp has to be hammered in, its so tight onto the roof! Even without a sunroof, probably because of my 8mm plates lol

was it purchased new or used???? if used, it could actually have been bent up at some time

Just checking...have you got the car jacked up, as they need to be fitted with all four wheels on the ground as the shell will twist when jacked.
