nova ignition and door barrels

hi.
i have just perchased a 1.2 nova and within the first day i managed to loose one key and break the other!!! so wasnt happy!

basicly just wondered if anyone has any segestions about how i can sort this out!! can i get a locksmith out and have him make a key by using the existing barrels or will i have to buy new barrels? if new barrels are needed any idea where to get them?

Look inside the boot, there is a code on the bootlock, use this, go to vauxhall, hand over £100 and they will do you a new key.

You need the v5c
Passport
Driving liscince

And to be desperate.

when u say new lock set what does that include?

Yes it does, and the igniton barrel IIRC:thumb:

fantastic iv never bought anythin off a forum befor o how does it work?

when i couldn't find my keys for my mk1, i got the number off the boot lock & rang the dealer & about £10 later i had 2 new keys.......

or you can get the number & try a locksmith.....

or get on ebay & buy a decent s/hand set, they do pop up quite often

They told me £70 for the first key, then £30 for a spare!
