filters...... Any gains to be had?

i have a ram air dome filter which i was advised by velos probably does the jobe better than any other on the same market

im wondering if i change to a cav/astra mk3 top box, and fit a cone filter, if it will hinder or improve performance any more?

mainly want to do it for looks really..........

hrm ok ill reply then..

the filter will flow slightly less cos your pulling the air thru a 90 degree bend and thru a narrow hole

it will prolly slow the air down in the same way swapping to a KnN style one would

for looks tho - go for it
