flip tone red?????

I'm gettin my car re-sprayed in a few weeks!!

I was thinkin about gettin a pearl flip but unsure what will work?

I'm keepin my original colour of flame red but want a flip too!!!

Any ideas? Any pics of red cars with flips?

keep it solid flame red. and get as many coats of laquer put on as you can afford for the deep glassy finnish

i was thinking exactly the same as you a couple of weeks ago, posted on here, everyone put me off it. look how sweet ollys car and the like looks in a solid flat colour that shines

Go for a solid colour and make sure they use good quality paint, mine was done in expensive paint using base coat and laquer, then i have applied a lot of wax

Can you have it flip from red to black the 2 colours look good together but i dont know wether this would work with a flip paint job

doubt it. flips work subtly - refracting light off small particles in the paint. Each layer is a slightly different colour so when you move it, if "flips" colour. Dont think you can go from red to black.

Most are more subtle like red to magenta to purple - similar shades or complimentary colours.

Who knows though - maybe possible...
