LET 1st gear no boost mod??

As above ive been told about this Now my engine was running in a Mk3 Astra so the (i think) Blue/Orange wires that sit above the gearbox have been soldered together? I also have a black/white plug that had been cut? Any info on this guys??

seriously, a programmable boost switch system is going to be very costly & complex

Yeah thats right mate, you just join the 1st gear switch wires together so the ecu thinks you arent in 1st gear

so the factory cut the boost for 1st gear to keep traction, and people remove it so they have too much power in 1st gear???????

please explain this to me

F16/F20 boxes dont have the 1st gear switch so youve got no choice but to join the wires to turn the 1st gear switch off

a micro switch could be fitted on the linkage to do the same thing

Just use your diy traction control (throttle) in 1st gear, simples :)

i learnt something & then put in a suggestion that would stop 1st gear wheelspin, how is that gay?
