Big block strut brace

I already have a brace but it's for carbed models and sits right in the middle so it'll foul the turbo top hot cover on the LET.

My bro is taking my one off me to put on his SR so I need another one. Which one/s will fit the LET (pics of them fitted would be great :thumb:)

Just clears the carbs but will deffo hit the LET.

i wouldnt be 100% it wont ft mate i have just tried my brothers off his 1.4 sr and it will fit on my let with top cover on ill get a pic tomoz its just resting on the cover but will go on

i used a omp one turned round.

this is my one, its an e-tech item.
i wont be using the top hat cover though on my let. is from my old 1.3sr i had before this one.

im using a 3inch top hat which is higher than the original one, so i dont know how much more room you will have.

Well , my bro wants a brace for his SR and mines red so it'll match his car well. Rather than chancing it I'd rather get a proper on that'll fit no problem. Plus my bro is buying it :d

Are the braces specifically made for the XE/LET or are they just the braces for the injected models?

I have a custom one on my V6 I'm sure it would clear a LET/XE as the engine is fairly close to the inside of the bonnet.

As you can see it bends more to the rear bulkhead

There are a few angled braces on the market. I assume they are the for ignition models
