I don't mean to be rude but what the hell does that say? As for inner wings panels I'm sure you can get them and I'm sure I've seen someone say where from on another forum, I will have a look now.

Wing mounting panels are NOT full inner wings they are only repair sections and don't hold the strutt turret inplace, I've got a pair.

the woman i got on the phone was a tad slow but helpfull, they can only get whats listed on there site, if its still being made.

you can not get replacement inner wings, if i could find a company that could reproduce copies i would cut out the inners from my shell and give them the pair to copy and we would then have these panels,,

bazil
19-04-10, 10:46 PM
usually its only the panel that rots, it would be far more likely to get a copy made of that panel then reuse your origonal strutt top, id take whatever i could get my hands on lol

karlgardner
20-04-10, 12:00 AM

I posted up a link in another thread, it's the company that actually makes the panels and sells then to the companies like Hadrian, they are in Norway or Denmark, they list all sorts of nova panels but only sell in bulk to traders.

dj_wudgey
21-04-10, 06:32 PM
so we maybe able to get some then? Be good if we could get some!

muzzy
21-04-10, 06:33 PM
What sort of "bulk" order do they require?

bazil
21-04-10, 06:57 PM
What sort of "bulk" order do they require?

unsure mate I can't speak Scandinavian lol
when I'm back home and on the pc I'll stick up a link, I recon this company has the moulds or forms to make the panels, but no wheelhouse panels for the front is listed on there site, bonnets, wings mk2 and mk1, front and rear panels, lights, doors , quarter panels are all listed, I guess if you had a part to copy they could remake the panel,

I can't remember who it was but in a previous thread someone mentioned that there dad was looking for manta jack points, he approched a company to make him a couple and was told the min order would be around 100! Obiously the company need to make sure there is profit to be made before make a run of panels is put into production.

dj_wudgey
21-04-10, 08:51 PM
well at least we have something to look into and we may be able to get some joy!

100 panels may be slightly too much in cost for the sake of getting 1 panel out of it but will have a look into that link and see what's what.

yea but if a few off us are interested may be worth it!!

muzzy
21-04-10, 11:36 PM
Yeah depending on how many were interested and what could be made I guess something could happen.

dj_wudgey
21-04-10, 11:38 PM
yea thats what i was thinking!! well have to look into it but we cold shift 100 on here off most pannels id say!!

bazil
21-04-10, 11:42 PM
yea but if a few off us are interested may be worth it!!

I spoke to the guy at my local Hadrian stockist, after he told me that the rear panel is nls he went on to say that he has heard of some classic car clubs actually buying the moulds for the panels from the aftermarket manufacturer in order to save them from being binned or scrapped! I'm talking about old tr2 type cars, it's easier to get panels for them than our little rot boxes lol

dj_wudgey
21-04-10, 11:45 PM
still again that is something to look into doing see if we could buy moulds! ect it would be worth it!

muzzy
21-04-10, 11:49 PM
I translated some of that site, luckily some of the words don't translate but you still get the pictures. The problem with 100 copies is realistically are you going to get 100 people who want to buy say a new boot floor, I would be interested in one but not everyone needs one or wants to buy one for the sake of it.

dj_wudgey
21-04-10, 11:50 PM
i want one lol

bazil
21-04-10, 11:53 PM
I would suggest getting only a few new parts made as it would be costly, wheelhouse's are a must with or without the turret the rest is only a matter of group buy through a stockist, but rear chassis legs would be epic :)

muzzy
21-04-10, 11:57 PM
The only parts it would be sensible to do it for would be as you say wheelhouse's (with or without turret), basically parts that have been NLS for a long time that people would more than likely jump at the chance to buy.

dj_wudgey
22-04-10, 12:00 AM
im with muzzy but rear chassis legs would be wicked i needed them for my gte!! id get sh*t loads if i could though id prefer all gm but anything thats good quality would do!!
