MOT's up, Tax is up so time to do the work to my nova.
Got the head off tonyt,im sendind it away on monday for porting / polishing etc.
I seen quite a bit of welding that needs doing tho :mad:
Putting high lift cam and 4 branch on when i get the head back.
Digi Dash is goin in next week, so hopefully im bang on track for PVS

This was owned by user Torroni on here car used to be in north london, spotted it on at A406 years back then got chatting to the guy, had mounted spot lights on the front bumper then. :-)

cant get the nova started... any advice fellas? Got compression, got spark, got fuel and the timings spot on... Somebody told me when the tappets have been drained they can take a while to fill and make it a **** to start.... any truth in that?

Yes mate when you drain the tappets there a biatch to start sometimes you have to tow them in gear to pump them up.

if it sounds like your at a tap dogs consert the chances are the timings wrong lol

yeah sorry i got it runnin the same night. the cam timing was 3 teeth out... DOH! still runnin a bit lumpy on tickover tho and seems to be holding back when you boot it, maxs out at 6k. any ideas??

mk1 dash ftw!! they may have to just go in your doorcards fella!! but ive never had a mk2 dash or tried to fit speakers into it so you never know you mebe squease sum in!!
