Anybody know of a store that sells new or reconditoined weber carbrettors? PLus the fitting kit needed for a 1.2 manifold or a 1.3sr manifold. Also, Is there and difference in performance between the 1.2 and 1.3 manifolds if they had the same carb?

I know New the 32/34 DTML's are round ?200. But where from?

(This isn't a wanted add admin!) I just wann enquire. So i don't waste peoples time.

If you are on about a PB1 carb setup on the 1.2 and 1.3 then the carb is the same with 5mm bigger venturi and bigger jets and the inlet on the manifold is 5mm bigger. Thats what i have on mine at the min until i get a twin choke. It just makes it rev better.

As for fitting kit you will just need a gasket for the manifold with some sealent stuff and lots of patients if you are doing it with the head still on! The nuts are a pain in the **** to get off the bottom of the manifold!

dont buy the weber for the 1.2 - the give a singe choke weber so it fits the original manifold

u want a 32/34 with fitting kit for a 1.3SR and you will need the 1.3SR manifold

yeah. thats what i thought. U can't buy a direct replacement weber 32/34 for a 1.2 though. Only a 1.3 i seen. How do i go about getting smaller jets for the weber for the 1.2? can i use the ones form my pb1?

you'll need to get a weber dealer to re-jet it for you

youll find 32 34 dont need "jetting" as such

i believed my weber to be jetted for my 1400 engine.

but running it and tuning it temporarily on the 1600 whilst my 40s away, velos didnt even touch the jetting!

just all the mixtures and fuel circuits
