That i am using Shell Ultra Diesel, according to the Blurb it increases Performance and MPG so therefore is an enhancement to my car so how i do stand if my car is now higher performance due to the uprated fuel!?

only if you fill up more than 20 litres, as this balances the weight better, so therefore it will handle better.

Bloody hell Ben, an old timer like you should kno that! ;)

Technically your insurance is void anyway, because you have a diesel.

I did wonder why it was even better through the corners.

Another thing i have been wondering i have read that loweing the PSi in your tyres can increase handling capabilities so do i need to tell them about this?

Paul

no, only if you over inflate them to 50psi so that you have less rolling resistance, therefore 50bhp more.

You must tell the DVLA about everything, especially if you are using non GM oil filter's.

And inform them whenever you have a sizeable poo, as this will effectively put your body in "Lightweight Racing Mode"

arr but you have to ask yourself, does removing random parts of your car come under performance modifications? could you imagine being charged extra on insurance because you have no back seats lol

yup if its changed from manufactures specification you have to tell the insurace so removing seats needs declairing even changing the stereo you have to tell them, wont change owt but you have to make them aware
