ok just changed the plugs etc on the nova after finished all the work i was doin to it.

took it for a spin for less than 5 mins. parked outside ma house. tried to start it again and it wouldnt turn! checked the plugs and there covered in black soot.
this is happens a lot recently. is it just due to overfueling?

i'll be changing my pierburg for the webber very soon anyway.

also can sum1 list all the connections needed to fit the webber.

cheers euan.

according to mr haynes

Carbon Fouling - Dry, black, sooty deposits.
Fault: over-rich fuel mixture
Check: carburettor mixture settings, float level, choke operation, air filter.

have you fitted any different air filter? and are you sure the choke mechanisms are working A - OK?
