lessons are booked over the next 5 weeks last is 21/5 so should be able to do the test after that, first is a week tomorrow and ive done the training before so hopefully will just be a quick refresher and then book the test
you should be good at this.. .i know a bloke who went & got his adi & is an instructor, and he is thick as devon custard..... we couldn't believe he got it, he really wasn't clever, but what he was good at was doing repetitive stuff, so he got his head round it & is doing quite well

Well done. Parts 1 & 2 are a breeze. Part 3 is the killer. 3 attempts and 3 fails. Got to wait until Dec this year to start over again and sit Part 1.

Well done mate, who are you doing your training with as I was quite interested in the training myself but have heard some horror stories regarding failing and then having to wait 2 years to start all over again (obviously paying the fees again) and that certain companies have very weird and wonderful contracts to stop you 'getting out early' or moving training to another company without financial penalty of some sort.
congrats mate :) hope part 2 goes well
dual controls in the loon then lol

The trainee licence is a great help, prepares you for being put into a dangerous situation that you can't quite re-create with a trainer or examiner playing the part of a pupil. I've had 7 pupils pass in the duration of my trainee licence and it's a great feeling.

lol maybe not damper
im doing the training with red (was the instructor collage when i signed up lol) with the intention of joining a local school in the village as i know they have work. The 2 year thing is the same irrispective of who you learn with its a dsa rule but you get 3 atempts at parts 2 and 3 within 2 years of passing part 1. As for paying for the tuition again one of the main reasons i chose red was they guarentee they will get you through so if you do have to start again you dont pay again, but yes if you do decide to change companies part way through you dont get anything back. But ive always found them friendly knowledgable and am happy with the tuition i have recived, and before anyone says anything i have see the clip on youtube and everything about them but from experience i disagre with it there will always be people that are unhappy with a service and i feel that the program think it was tonight with trevor mcdonald just purely focuses on that side.
The tuition i had last time was top notch and if it wasnt for my divorce id probably be qualified and working as an adi, when i went to see them this time i thought i would have to pay again due to the curcumstances but no they sorted it all and my training is underway again

Cheers for that mate, Red was one of the ones I was looking at. Good to know their take on failing and resitting for the license. Thanks for the info. :thumb:

that was my thinking you can throw so many mistakes into driving to practice spoting them but in real life a pupil will do something you have never even thought of, so will give both identification and remedying practice and make you think god will my heard take this. lol
my mate recons its like passing his test all over again when a pupil passes, very rewarding me thinks
