A combo of 1.4 corsa spi bottom end, 1200 carb head, 1200 inlet/carb, and 16sv carb cam....
Are there any obvious reasons as to why this wouldn't run? I gather the compression will be very high and fuelling may be a bit off, but wouldn't it still run?
Getting fuel/spark, got it running on about 2 cylinders for a while after forcing it by towing lol, but it won't start, it just floods itself after churning for a while.
Had thought timing may be off a little, notches on pulleys are OK, tried moving the dis cap little amounts in each direction but to no avail. Sometimes it sounds like its going to fire up but no luck.
BTW, had the bits lying around so it just cost me a head gasket, thought it might be interesting.... don't scold me if I've made a boob lol
