hi does anyone know what carbed manifold will fit a nova 8v gsi engine please
none properly from vauxhall........
you might get the carb & dizzy set off a 1.4, if you can find one...
or you try & find some decent twin 40's & a manifold, but its big money
whats wrong with the injection system??? cos they are way better, and surprisingly easy to fit, if you have all of the bits..
Agreed, why would you want to bin the excellent injection system for a carb? unless you're an oval/grass racer?

just fancied a change to a big 2.0l twin choke webber, if i find a manifold that fits the engine get the tig welder out then there we have a gsi with a 2.0l twin choke that will go like a f****** rocket
I bet the tuned injection system would see more power than a bodged weber.
no, it will struggle to go any better than an injected one, & waste twice as much fuel, and you will need a different distributor & coil, and they are getting rare....
But if thats what you want to do, then have a looky at a mk3 astra spi 1.6, but it will not be quicker.....then you need to blank off the EGR bit on the head, and sort out a non injection fuel pump

Injection much more reliable and fuel efficient , in multipoint form decent power.
