Is there any way that you can fit an induction kit onto a carb? Ive noticed on injection nova's that there is only 2 bolts holding the air box on, so u can get an air box off a corsa or astra and put it on it so u can have an induction kit rather than a bolt-on filter. Can this be dun with a carb, as it has 3 bolts in a triangle pattern, not 2? Nice 1

Will that top box that you've shown fit the pierburg 1b1 carb? Because the pierburg 1b1 carb and the pierburg 2e3 carb both have 3 bolts, but the spacing is slightly different. I have a pierburg 1b1 carb on a 1.2 engine. Cheers

Is using this cav top box & induction kit going to be better than using a K&N bolt on filter??

or you could just get a bolt on filter???? save a lot of hassle for nearly the same result.

and with a bolt on filter the air dosent have to change direction so many times

Has anyone done a bad ass modified bonnet scoop induction system for direct air intake? Straight from a hole in the top of the bonnet down into the carb?

theres no poin trying to fit an induction kit to a carb because you wont gain anything, infact you will probably loose power because of the distance the air will have to travel to get into the carb. bolt on filters are basically induction kits that are designed for carbs and therefor are the ones to buy.
