basically some **** who was trying to steal a car went on mig trying to find out where the owner lived..... now, considering that 3 months ago, he 'sold' it to the 'new' owner and filled in the strip on the v5, he would know where the 'new' owner lived......

thus he got pwned by all of mig for no insurance etc, cos his answers didn't stack up, then he got all upset & troll like and left

back in 1990, tried to insure a 400 quid 1300 astra & got quoted £1300 fully comp...... i was earning about 5 grand at the time.. i got a tpft for £600 in the end.. the car was bog standard, and i had a 4 years old clean licence. these days, kids want to insure a saturn 5 for £3.50, find out they can't & then get all illegal. this pushes up everybody's insurance. if some tit crashes his corsa into the scenery at speed, the total cost of sorting it out will run into tens of thousands, if there's a dead its a million , so every time i see a bunch of flowers near a roundabout, i don't think some poor soul died, i think there goes my premium again

Although saying that his was quite different from the norm, its usually that its up to the buyer to change the engine size whereas this guy just goes to the petrol station along the road so that's ok.

if i went to view a car with a different engine fitted & didn't personally know the seller, there is no way i'd buy it if it had not got an engineers report, had passed an mot & got the v5 changed.....

i thought the same too, a mate of mine is a trainee at a vauxhall garage and he not long passed his test and now he drives customers cars back to their houses. but like XE PROJECT said, it may be diffrent in other garages.
