Another boring alternator problem!!!

Argh more electrics!

Right well I only got 12.summit volts at the battery with the engine running (no electrics on in the car) and the battery light lit up on the dashboard...can someone check were I've put my wires cus I feel they are probably horribly wrong:confused:

Sorry about the poor quality,,,btw its a 1.2i 8v engine.
I've got red from the solenoid, black which goes to the black box (compressor thing?, which I havnt touched), blue/white (dash light remote switch thingy, possibly the culprit i'm thinking).

Also an earth...

Check the battery earth itself, and the gearbox/chassis earth, My battery light was staying on and from memory it was one of those.

The blue/white wire goes down next to the red battery wire mate think its a 8mm nut on a stud if that helps but dont think htat would solve the voltage being low i would put that down to the earth as AW said..
