nova and corsa bottomarms the same?

as above bought some corsa bottom arms went 2 put poly bushes in slack as f##k not sure weather been sent wrong bushes or arms different sick as just want it on the road nw cheers:(

i think they are the same, as iirc the bottom arms on one of mine were corsa items...

exaclty the same size. running them on mine, and there reinforced as standard.

Yeah but that was the only way i could do it.

Corsas are 2inch wider as you know, but its the chassis mounts that are wider, not the arms longer.

Im 100% sure someone said they fitted corsa bottom arms though and got a load of neg camber due the arm being longer....

arms r the same lenth but wen i put the bushes in there a mile off maybe this is wat happens wen i buy cheep poly bushes there floflex ones off ebay ill hav 2 speak 2 them 2morrow and see wat they say maybe patern arms hav different size bushes havent tryed original arms 2 see iff they fit yet:thumb:

had ordered them 4 a nova then got a set of cosa bottom arms on the cheap rather than buy and weld in the strenther plates always thought the bushes were the same acording to the fiting kit there 4 nova and corsa unless u know better m8 just sick of going back and forth ntryn to get it back on the road if i knew it was this much hastle wud hav left the 16 in

What engine have you fitted mate c20xe?

If so you dont need to strenghen the lower arms.

i just left the bushes that came with the arms in, they fit spot on! id imagine you could just replace the nova bushes with corsa ones through floflex.

I have gsi tie bars as there 22mm and strenghtened bottom arms,better safe than sorry

yea c20xe m8 got them both 4 a tenna so i thought i put them on prob just stick with nova 1s yhats if the bushes fit them it was worth a try

Thats rubbish, Corsa chassis dimensions didnt change, I broke a 94 SRi, and the complete front end setup is now on my 98 Corsa, As well as my 99 tigra being exactly the same?!

no its not, i removed parts from one and i didnt fit the other, they even sell two differnt ball joint because the bolt holes are in differnt places

agree with browney i had a corsa bottom arm come my way (dont know what year it was off) but it was definetly longer

so is it the earlyer 1s that fit or the later 1s? i know they changed the chassis mount on the later 1s so maybe thats when they changed the arms?

just got the origanal nova arms off and the bushes r a different size to the corsa ones arms r the same lenth and holes 4 ball joints same so took out the grinder and cut the strenthener plates off the corsa ones welded them into the nova ones JOB DONE THANK F##K so my opinion is !THERE NOT THE SAME!:eek:
