oil sumps

would a c20ne or a c20seh oil sump fit an c20xe? found somebody that sells them but theres only these listed anybody know..

yea as far as i know mate they will fit as the bottom ends are identical IIRC.

:) thats what i thought because i know the sump gaskets are the same! But im not sure whether they would hold the same amount of oil? That would be a problem! I only ask because im after a steel one, the ally ones are rubbish and always break when being fitted, ive cracked two now lol

think they both hold about 4.5lit of oil so i would have thought so mate im sure that a couple of lads one here have swap them for steel ones also dont know if you would have to change to pick up pipe too but shouldnt think so id hang fire till someone confirms for deffinate though.

auzzy i bought a steel one with a modified baffle plate in for my old xe it fit fine, its in the garage now as i had a new engine built and if you want it call it £10 come get it mate
