My £104 Nova project

Bought an Ebay Special a few weeks back -

Have plans for an SEH conversion, GSi bumpers, a black grille, 256mm brakes from a Cav SRi, Nova SR steelies and also a set of 15" Cesaro alloys.

When she came she was host to the inevitable tinworm... :

She's only a 1.2 but being the carb model goes through a ****load of fuel and runs like a bag of spanners until she warms up. I've leaned her off a bit as she was running cool and that's helped the economy a bit. She went straight through the MOT as well - bonus!

Am looking forward to the work, and will keep this thread updated (he lied fluently).

make sure all rust is dead before touching it with paint or filler otherwise it pops back really quickly. and make you pull your hair out!

Have got plenty of hair (haven't cut it since 2001) so should be okay on that front!

Have got a set of spotlights to mount before long, and must get around to sorting out a GSi / GTE rear bumper - and collect the front bumper from Mark!

Also the boot grab handle i thought at first you had made some sort of union jack crazy on,
but when i looked again its just because it was sanded down lol pmsl

I started out wanting a saloon but after looking at Baxters white more door then this one, I am no longer 100% certain..

Have been told that they're "for girls", although I've seen so many with Softstars and Speedlines that I decided I wanted something a little less popular and these seemed to fit the bill perfectly. You'll be sick as a pig to learn that I got them for free from a very nice man form PNG and VxON, although I believe that you can pick them up quite cheaply.

They should look the business..

And if you end up hating them you can always sell them to me!
