Ive got new tyres on my 15" alloys, they are 195/50/15, they have been fitted and balanced. I lowered my nova 60mm. Should i get the tracking done on it now? How much does it cost? What would happen if i dont get the tracking done? Would it handle shit and would the tyres wear down funny and fast and at an angle? Cheers

i'd get it done. your probably better not doing it tho cos then u're tyres will wear quickly and then you can get some 195/45/15 tyres like u should've done in the first place.

basically if they aint tracked properly then looking from above the wheels would be like this:

/ \ < toe in (front)
| | < rears

or \ / (toe out)

hell it could even be / / or \ \

and u really should have got 195/45r15s - they fit much nicer and give better clearance

Its ok sayin that 195/50/15 fitted fine on yours, but was yours lowered 60mm?

40mm but it's used off road quite a bit with no problems

Thats all very good Ste, but you've probably got the correct fitment for 16" Alloys.

As for getting the tracking done, yes, you should get it done otherwise your tyres will wear and the handling will not be as good as it should be.

195/50/15 tyres will be fine provided there the correct offset wheel, but ideally 195/45/15 tyres are better.

Before you get the tracking dome do the camber mod otherwise your paying for tracking will be a waste of time cos your tyres will wear unevenly with -60mm. Do the mod and then get your tracking done. Should be about ?12 to ?23 depending where you get it done.

195/50/R15 Are Ok. If they don't rub on your arches then these should handle better anyway.
