Ive heard about fitting a "crossover" into my ice. Something to do with sending the bass to the sub and the trebble to the front speakers. Can anyone explain this. Ideas of what i need and a cost.
Thanx In advance

Crossvers are mainly used when using component speakers. The send the high frequencies to the tweeters and mid bass to the 6.5" woofers. The way to get the bass to your sub is to bridge it! [For a further explanation just ask!!]. You can just get capacitors and put them inline in your wiring, this will cut out frequencies u don.t want going to speakers. The capacitors have to be a certain rating tho!

It depends how good a one you want. You could get a cheap 1 4 about ?50.
They're not just 4 competition 1's at all.
They basically control which frequencies go to which speakers. e.g. low to subs. I have 1, the sound quality over all is much better, I would recommend them.

Inline ones that fit between the speaker and wiring are about a fiver each.
