This project has taken a turn for the track lol

After all its caged and bucketed:thumb:

Would it look silly, with loads of primer, and the doors in primer?

Just for afew track days, as i dont want to mint it, then stuff it?

Also, SRS-1, and riggy, you coming out in her lol

Its a track car, it doesn't need to look good if it goes well.

roller paint it just before you take it out on the track, so any onlookers will be able to see paint dry

Matt black would be better than primer, or just go for a no paint approach like the old Auto Union cars

Why the fukc would you want to lacquer primer, you may as well put some solid colour on top if your going to the bother of lacquering

to keep the primer colour/effect but to not let water hammer the metalwork through the non waterproof primer

I quite like the orange primer you get from Halfrauds lol might look good with clear laquer on.

I've laquered high build primer before when just getting a part smooth to take a mold of. Looked rather funky to be honest
