a mint nova has just come out of hiding in my area red mk1 merit 60,000 miles. previous owner for 19 years !! super cheap to me, i have no money or job atm, i currently own my 1.2spi mk2 and its rusting, arches are filler bay is rotten front pannel is rotten, i have a offer for the money i need for it, however my family have had it for 14 years so im very attached to it :( and want to save it eventually, but i also want this minter !!!
anybody know ways of making money fast lol, im selling stuff like mad :) :thumb:

£500 may be nothing, but its relative - like, I take home £1500 a month, so £500 to me would be nothing. But if I was working part time in town taking home £300 a month, then £500 would be a lot.
Ask the rents, see if they'll lend you some of the cash... Or take out a loan which has no early repayment penalty for £5k, then pay it all back a couple months later lol

As above, sell yours and get the other. I wouldn't borrow money the money as it's not as if you NEED the other one. If I were your parents I would be telling you to have one or the other.

since the nova came into my hands i wanted to restore it, not chav it, hence why everything is standard..... except the wheels which i am trying to change.

the thing is this...... you have the choice of who you sell it to.....
also, the car has a severe tin worm infestation. it will cost you so much money to fix

hmm you are talking sense, but, my plan is to just sort it all out, the shell isnt that bad structurally, just needs a few new pannels and the bay welding up, im going to put it in a lock up methinks

It needs 1/4's, inner wings will need more patchwork than a 50 year old bear, the chassis legs are rotten in the engine bay, god knows what is under the underseal.
Bottom line is you cant afford to fix the mk2, and you cant afford the mk1, so forget it.
I cant afford a zonda, So ive forgotten it.

i once went to view a green 2 door loon, just the other side of town, MOT, tax, and very mint. 500 quid. i didnt have any money, so i wasnt willing to get my self in debt for it. so i just let it go, non the less it sold a few days later.

lol i can now, seeing as i have this job hopefully, otherwise i wouldnt lol
scrap the mk2 and buy the mk1. speaking from experience, chasing rot around a car is ****, and its never gone. mint shell is far better.

Sell your parents house, Just whack it up on the estate agents list. Then you can live inside your new mk1 nova ;) + Have lots of cash left.
