speakers in dash

Is it worth replacing the speakers in the dashboard? i want some good overall sound from the front of the car but i dont wana cut into the doors, i have 6x9's on the parcel shelf and i have an amp. any suggestions of wot size i will need, and any suggestion of speaker type,? cheers

4 inch speakers will fit. i used a set of kenwoods with bass blockers 2 make them vocal and high frequencie only this with a decent set of components and tweeters gave great up front sound then i used kenwood 6x9's and a 10" sub 2 give the bass
