Vauxhall Nova GSi - C20XE

Purchased back in November from Paul16v on the forum, although it was listed for sale on Pistonheads. Always a car I've liked but timing wasn't right for me on previous ocassions it was for sale. This time I snapped it up. Car was collected on a trailer to save any stone chips or possibility of damage on the way home.

Since then its been sitting in my garage under a cover waiting for the better weather to come. It has been started and moved every week (to get the bins out) and then finally back on the road at the beginning of the month.

My plan was to show it this year at a couple of the shows however this is now not going to be possible with work commitments (travelling abroad) and a few other things. Rather than it sitting in the garage waiting for the odd outing and trying to avoid being scratched by sons and their bikes, I think it would be better to sell.

Details

most important element is price which is £3100 fixed. This is the price i paid so I'm not looking to try and make any form of profit, just recover what I paid.

had a few enquires and been emailing back and forward with a few people but no takers yet. Caged with some decent bucket seats would look really good for it. I'd also wondered about the dash from a completely different brand, butchered to fit and then flocked to go with the cage and seats. Didn't get as far as measuring it all up, but was thinking about the series one Audi A3 dash.

No, he's not on the forum but has had a couple of novas in the past. 800+ roundtrip to come and see it and has taken it with him. Its heading to Norwich.

I've given the guy the details for the club though so he may join or at least have a look at the forums.

As for me, its time to gather all the spares I have together and list them up for sale. 8 Novas over the last 14 years and I reckon i finished on a high. Job, family etc not leaving much time to enjoy toys.

Cheers Craig! Got a decent set of late mk1 sr seats the same as you had in your td and also a mk1 sr boot with vynal in laser blue. GTE door tops and rear cards and rear arch carpets. Thats about it that would be useful.
