I've joined a couple of upload sites with no luck, I want to share a 39mb WAV file with a friend, MSN is taking ages, are there any other solutions that aren't posting a disk?

yes

rar it into sections then upload it in say 10 4MB segments or whatever it works out at, or install apache server?

Cheers Jon, tried WinRar but it won't separate them for me

erm...open winrar, click wizard, add the file you want, click next, in the box at the bottom type in the size you want in bytes:thumb:

I have the free one and it lets me do it fine, does it not have a check box you can click down and it has a list like floppy/cd/dvd etc? instead you just put the size, if you've not you might have an old version? i've got 3.91 beta 2?

are you sure your not trying to "unpack" an archive?

yousendit.com - free, no signup, no downloads, just upload it on their webpage and stick in your mates email address - 100mb limit

I use rapidshare, but I have a premium account.

Just use HJSplit, tis freeware and can split any file into chunks.
