Went to Perth today and did a trade with my Astra for a 91 Nova SR 1.4. Delighted with the car although the exhaust is a bit too loud for my liking lol

The rear arches both need replaced along with a few other bits and pieces but mechanically the car is top notch as is the chassis so no big deal.

Here are the pictures of the car sent by the guy I got it from and how it looked when we picked it up.

After a few hours work when we got back up the road. The pictures really do not do the paintwork justice, this was with a going over with T-Cut and a polish, absolutely amazing transformation, just a shame rust isn't so easy to sort lol

Not quite finished what I'm planning on changing, want to lower it a little more and probably change the exhaust. MOT runs out next year so will probably sort the arches etc over time then replace the vinyl's as well as adding the SR decals.

The tyres on the 5 spokes were ridiculous, also one was really close to the markers. Keeping hold of them though and will stick new tyres on in case I fancy fitting them again.

Tell me about it lol

Was going to remove it yesterday but had nothing to remove the glue.

It's been a while since I've driven a Nova and it is really good fun

Photo's are hiding the arch rust quite well lol

Nothing that can't be fixed though, just need to find a time to do it with it being used every day.
