Ive got a new toy to play with :d

Bought this from a mate who had just sprayed it, then decided to break it for parts because he was bored of playing with old cars. Paintwork isnt perfect, but its had new arches and sills both sides. Theres been some reaction on some of the paint but once its running and on the road im not too fussed.

All ive done today is remove the bumper trims and spoiler so i can spray them, trims are going gloss black and spoiler white because it wasnt resprayed with the car.

Currently trying to source a front and gear gearbox mount to get the engine bolted in, already picked up some brakes and front seats for tempory use until i can find a full interior

Rich, might have an osf gte16v mount? will have a look for you. Love the mk2 don't ya!

i need rear metal mount and rubber, front metal mount. a rad, top rad and bottom rad hoses, coolant bottle that fits to the ns turret (non abs models). interior lol

john theres a osf engine mount on the engine i bought, looks like a mk2 one i hope. Mk2 is the second best shape astra, right behind the mk1 but i cant afford one of them lol

useless wip, more like a before and after.

Painted spoiler, mirrors, bonnet vents, bumper trims and mesh is now black instead of white. Finally dropped it on its wheels tonight,
