f16 and 20xe mount problem

hi im fitting a 20xe and f16 to my nova what front gearbox mount do i need as ive tried to fit the one that the box came with which i presume is a cavalier mount, the car side of the mount is the type that the bolt passes through the gearbox side horizontally, any help would be appreciated:thumb: :confused:

Not sure, but the mk2 Cavs used a totally different mount & the gearbox was different where it attached on, you need an Astra or later cav mk3... gearbox only. The std Nova fr g/box mount should bolt straight up to the fr edge of the box.

cheers, a mate has a gsi mount apparently, would that be tthe one im looking for ?

not true td ones are definetly different and my mates 20ne is different and is on a f16:thumb:

IIRC they are all the same as the td's use an f13 or f10 box the only mounts that differ are the drivers front mounts on the td an big block novas. :thumb:
