lads n lassies,

i was wonderin will a corsa 1 litre carb (or similar) fit onto my novas 1 litre head?
its not for higher performance reasons i just reckon it might idle/start better in bad weather with the automatic choke.

thanks

corsa 1litre is a 3 cylinder DOHC engine, the nova one is a 4 cylinder OHV engine

they are TOTally different and it cant be done :/

yeh but a rather large group of un-informed people think that because the TBI system (mostly called SPi) used in the corsas and low end novas looks kinda like a carb - that it is one

infact all youve got as a standard throttlebody injection system where the fuel goes into the engine at the throttlebody rather than right at the end of a tuned port (TPI used on higher end vaux engines and sometimes called MPi)

its got a butterfly and an injector, not all the usual shite in a carb like jets and float chambers
