as Mowgli says^ measure them, i think there m10 arn't they?
definately the correct thread as i ordered them from autovaux and they were gm items?
Mine fitted my 20XE fine and they were from autovaux
Try getting an M8 tap from a local fixings shop, and run that in the threads.Dont forget a tap wrench, dont be tempted to use molegrips.
how did you get the studs in the block?
I havent fitted them all yet but will be putting 2 nuts tightened into each other on the thread, then turn the nut closest to you to screw the stud into the hole.
you are tightening the 2 nuts together are you????
ye but its just spinnung both nuts. do you use the proper (copper) manifold nuts or just normal ones? cheers

Just use normal nuts to start so you dont mess the copper plated ones up. Tighted the two nuts up againts each other with two spanners to prevent them moving up and down the thread.
