Add a clean risk named driver - no claims/convictions etc
Lower mileage but don't take the pee.
Shop around, someone will always beat your best price at new business to get you in the door so to speak.
If you are TP or TPF&T try comprehensive, seems to be a better rate at the moment with quite a few companies.
Edit: try different brokers as well as going direct to insurers, people think they will always be more expensive because they are the 'middle man' but this isn't alway the case. They want their commission regardless how small so will do their best for you.
